How to Play Players’ Choice Blackjack
Players' Choice is a unique version of online
blackjack in which it is necessary to beat the dealer by collecting a higher score. It is prohibited to exceed 21.
It is allowed to play only one hand. Users can bet from ten cents to two hundred dollars (the betting range varies at different casinos.)
Eight standard 52-card decks are used in this game. Jokers are not used. The application automatically shuffles the cards before each deal, so that there is no need to pay attention to a stack of cards placed in the discard tray.
The gameplay is not similar to classic versions of blackjack. The customer makes a bet and sees five pairs of cards lying on specific sectors face down. He or she will choose cards out of them. First of all, it is necessary to randomly select the first pair. After that, the dealer reveals the top card.
If it is suitable for the player, he or she can keep this pair. If the card seems to have too low rank, the user may choose another pile. It is allowed to select cards once for free.
Having chosen his cards, the user should select another pair randomly. It will belong to the dealer. In this case, only one attempt is provided. Only one dealer's card will be placed face up. Pairs of cards that have not been selected by the player are put in a discard tray.
Then the player will be able to see both his cards and have to decide what to do with them. This version offers only hitting among all the options that are available in the traditional blackjack. When the customer collects enough points, he should stand. After that, the dealer enters the gameplay.
The croupier hits until he collects a 17. Then he stands (provided that none of the participants busts) and the comparison of the dealer's and player's hands occurs. If the client wins, his bet is paid 1:1. The payout for blackjack is calculated according to the 1:1 ratio. If the scores are equal, both the dealer and the player lose a half bet.
Such traditional features as double, surrender, split, and even money are not provided.
If you play Players' Choice Blackjack in accordance with the optimal strategy, it is possible to rise the theoretical payout percentage to 98.37%.
